Primary Responsibilities:
The Mammography Technologist will utilize equipment which produces
ionizing radiation to obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes
according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC
Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Imaging services
vary by site, therefore, rotation through general diagnostic
radiography using fluoroscopic and/or digital radiography systems
and/or conventional radiography units utilizing CR technology as
well as DEXA bone density studies and performance of stereotactic
guided biopsies may be required depending on location. -The
Mammography Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology
Information System (RIS) to complete clerical processes and
designated PACS system for stereo tactic and DEXA studies.--- -

Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic
Technology

Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology -
Experience as a mammography technologist -
Experience performing stereotactic guided breast biopsies -
RIS experience -
Bilingual -
