Job Summary As the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will
lead and manage a group responsible for the development of support
function financial plans and forecasts and deliver regular
performance reporting and variance analysis to key stakeholders and
management. Essential Functions
- Manage the development of monthly, quarterly and annual
financial reporting for support functions. Includes all forecasting
and variance analysis of actual to plan and forecast to plan.
- Lead the preparation of the five-year financial plans for
support functions.
- Drive continuous improvement mindset and develop innovative
processes, procedures and/or tools to support analysis of business
performance.
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
under areas supported, Finance/Accounting, and organizational
leadership.
- Work directly with VP/ Directors/ Managers to provide general
financial support, including but not limited to activities such as
ad hoc financial analysis, financial modeling, strategic plans and
business case scenario analysis.
- Lead and participate on cross functional project teams as
needed.
- Coach and develop the staff to improve performance and support
reaching personal development goals. Provide on-going feedback to
ensure employee development. Education Description
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with
a focus in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Experience
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant work experience
required
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
