Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mortgage Tax / Escrow SME to provide
hands-on support for servicing activities related to Tax and Escrow
during mortgage servicing system conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the payment, reconciliation, and research of property taxes,
insurance, and mortgage insurance for impounded loans
Prepare annual and initial escrow analysis statements, ensuring
compliance with RESPA regulations
Monitor delinquent taxes, conduct research on tax-related issues,
and maintain system records and schedules
Required Qualifications:
5 years of experience in Mortgage Servicing focused on Tax and
Escrow
Prior experience with MSP Mortgage Servicing System conversion is
preferred
Extensive knowledge of Tax and Escrow regulations and investor
rules
Proven ability to support Tax and Escrow operations during system
conversions
Experience interfacing with investors, clients, auditors, and
management
