Job Description:
A company is looking for a Lead Nonprofit Bookkeeper to manage
bookkeeping services for nonprofit clients and oversee a team of
bookkeepers.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of bookkeepers, ensuring adherence to
accounting procedures and accuracy in financial reporting
Manage operational accounting needs for assigned clients, including
monthly close processes and financial reporting
Oversee new client QuickBooks Online clean-up projects and assist
in workload distribution for the bookkeeping team
Required Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience in bookkeeping, with a minimum of 3
years in the nonprofit sector
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the accounting
field
Degree in accounting or related field preferred
Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online; ProAdvisor
certification is a plus
Experience with Keeper, Gusto, ADP, Bill.com, and Track1099
strongly preferred
