Position Summary
The Vice President of Sales leads Empower's sales strategy, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and alignment with strategic objectives. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), this role oversees a high-performing team, fosters stakeholder relationships, and ensures excellence in sales execution across all regions.
Duties and Responsibilities


  • Collaborates with the CSO and executive leadership to align sales objectives with business strategy, developing and executing a comprehensive plan to exceed revenue goals while identifying growth opportunities in current and emerging markets to expand market share.
  • Leads and mentors a high-performing sales team by fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation, while ensuring continuous development, engagement, and accountability through clear performance metrics.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and strategic partners, acting as a company ambassador to ensure customer-centricity and satisfaction at all touchpoints.
  • Leverages data-driven insights and market analysis to identify new business opportunities, collaborating with marketing, Research and Development, and other teams to develop cohesive sales strategies.
  • Implements and optimizes compliant sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency, while monitoring and reporting on sales performance to provide actionable insights to the CSO and leadership team.

    While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Other abilities required by this job include close vision.

          Experience and Qualifications

          • Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry or other related field.
          • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
