Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Underwriting (Small
Commercial P&C - All Lines).
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of
underwriting guidelines and coverage applications
Monitor and manage underwriting risk to achieve target loss ratios
while supporting company mission
Assist in product development and ensure adherence to underwriting
standards and principles
Required Qualifications
7+ years of small nationwide commercial P&C insurance
underwriting experience
Experience managing all underwriting functions and implementing
best practices
Strong understanding of product development within a tech
organization
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and
stakeholders
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
