Job Description:
A company is looking for an Audit Director to oversee internal
audits and advisory engagements within financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops risk-based audit plans and provides insights based on
business strategies and internal auditing practices
Coordinates and schedules audits, ensuring effective use of
resources and engagement with senior leaders
Identifies innovative auditing methods through data analytics and
technology to enhance audit effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, technical, or related field;
advanced degree preferred
Relevant certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CPCU, or PMP
desired
Typically ten or more years of experience in audit, risk
management, or a related field
Management experience preferred, particularly in the insurance and
financial services industry
Knowledge of internal audit principles and practices, with a
thorough understanding of risks in business and technology
environments
