Job Description:
A company is looking for an Information System Security Officer
(ISSO) to support cybersecurity initiatives and maintain the
security posture of information systems.
Key Responsibilities
Complete and respond to security data requests promptly
Analyze weekly security scan reports to identify actions and
remediate high findings
Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for
identified findings
Qualifications
Open to junior candidates with relevant job function experience and
training
Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
(preferred)
Formal security training or certification required (e.g., CISSP,
Security+, or equivalent)
Proficiency in Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
Familiarity with NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-53
guidelines
