**Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist**

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann League City Convenient Care Center.

**Job Description**

As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in creating three-dimensional images of tissue, organs, and other body parts to aid in diagnoses and treatment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

--- Performs MRI procedures on patients, preparing them for the exam, explaining the procedure, and administering contrast when necessary
--- Enters and monitors patient data, ensuring technical quality of the scan
--- Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance equipment and matrix camera
--- Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management
--- Ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

--- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
--- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support
--- One of the following combinations:
+ Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR)
+ Registered Radiological Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) and Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
