Job Description:
A company is looking for an experienced Taxonomist to join their
design team and enhance the information architecture for food
menus.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain taxonomies, classification systems, and
metadata frameworks for food menus
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure taxonomy supports
search, navigation, and personalization
Conduct user research and analyze data to inform taxonomy decisions
and improvements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in taxonomy design, information
architecture, or content design
Strong analytical skills to translate user behavior data into
actionable insights
Familiarity with food-related industries and diverse menu
structures is a plus
Hands-on experience with CMS, tagging systems, or metadata
management tools
User-centric mindset with empathy for diverse customer needs
