Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Full Time Prior Authorization
Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain referrals and authorizations from insurance companies for
services rendered
Verify patient insurance coverage and gather necessary demographic
and billing information
Document all actions and interactions related to the insurance
process in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
One plus year of experience in healthcare pre-authorizations
Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding
Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent (GED); continuing
education preferred
Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly
and accurately
Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
