Job Description:

Overview: In the role of Cargo Supervisor with the SM Cargo team, you will be the key to getting all inbound and outbound freight processed safely, accurately, and on time. Safety, security, training, and compliance are critical requirements for achieving operational excellence. Location: Houston, TX Responsibilities:

• Prepare for shift and meet with other supervisors for updates
• Oversee associate job performance and training to address performance issues
• Train team on safety procedures
• Verify that agents are meeting goals and completing logs
• Monitor verifications of imports and exports
• Monitor email traffic and distribute work Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or Ged preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in cargo management
  • Knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to solve complex problems, including finance
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail Salary Range: The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $50,002 - $62,502 per year. Pay is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training and other considerations permitted by law.
