and AnkleRole Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Supply Planner to join our team. As a Supply Planner for Medical
Products, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and
efficient availability of materials to meet patient and healthcare
provider needs. You will be responsible for developing and
implementing supply plans, managing inventory levels, and
overseeing purchasing and production planning activities. Your role
will involve coordinating with suppliers and production, optimizing
the supply chain, and ensuring compliance with industry
regulations.Key Responsibilities: The following are the primary
duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may
be assigned to meet the business need.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of 400+ work orders across
a diverse range of 22+ machines.
- Develop and maintain supply plans to meet forecasted demand for
medical products.
- Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to integrate supply
plans with overall business goals.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance supply and
demand, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Implement inventory control measures and manage safety stock
levels to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory
costs.
- Manage the purchasing process for materials, including issuing
purchase orders and supporting the supplier relationships.
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and components needed
for production, ensuring timely and cost-effective
acquisition.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of
products and manage supply chain disruptions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to
support procurement and supply chain objectives.
- Address any issues related to supplier performance, quality, or
delivery.
- Coordinate with production facilities to align production
schedules with supply plans.
- Ensure effective distribution of products to various locations,
managing logistics and transportation as needed.
- Ensure all supply chain and purchasing activities comply with
relevant medical and industry regulations, including FDA and GMP
requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and
regulatory reviews.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply
chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize data analysis to drive decision-making and optimize
supply chain and purchasing processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales,
Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure
alignment and address any supply-related issues.
- Provide regular updates and reports on supply chain
performance, including key metrics and KPIs.Minimum Basic
Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must
be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain
Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in supply planning,
purchasing, or a similar role, preferably within the medical
products or healthcare industry.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems
(e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).Preferences:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data,
identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the
ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate
cross-functionally and present findings to management.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and
problem-solving.
- Proven experience in managing inventory, purchasing, and
coordinating with suppliers and production teams.Currently, Enovis
