We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial decision-making process by providing insights, forecasts, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of financial principles. Responsible for performing FP&A functions across multiple entities and interfacing with company / division Presidents and accounting teams on a regular basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue and expense and cash flow forecasting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Budgeting: Assist in the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of budget templates and analysis of departmental submissions.
Variance Analysis: Analyze variances between actual performance and forecasts/budgets, providing actionable insights to management.
Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends for executive leadership.
Data Analysis: Utilize financial software and tools to analyze data and generate reports that support strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather data, understand financial implications, and assist in strategic planning initiatives.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support special projects and management requests.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiencies.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus but not required.
2-4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, audit or a related area.
Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis, with advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software (e.g., CMIC, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
