DescriptionPacTec, Inc., a global provider of flexible waste packaging, is hiring a Director of Product and Market Innovation. • Work collaboratively across PacTec departments to identify environmental, health and safety risks and hazards that require engineered packaging solutions, develop and adapt products that can support needed solutions, and support commercialization of solutions to existing and new customers.
• Develop and maintain contacts with waste generators, waste haulers, landfill operators, waste processors, government regulators and academics to understand environmental, health and safety risks and hazards, market conditions and business opportunities.
• Review and iterate current product designs to enhance performance across closure, material performance, and application readiness.
• Refine market intelligence to identify likely customers.
• Support research, development and launch of new products serving existing and new markets across the industrial spectrum.
• Support Sales to drive product adoption.
• Monitor the Federal and State regulatory landscape to identify emerging contaminants and requirements that provide new opportunities for PacTec products and solutions.
• Conduct assignments for PacTec senior management team as assigned.Qualifications:
• Deep expertise in the waste industry and other industrial sectors.
• Master's degree required.
• 20+ years waste industry experience required.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, deep quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities, and creative problem-solving capabilities.Benefits:
